The Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) held its 12th Meeting in Bali, Indonesia, in December 2016. At this meeting, the U.S. Pacific Territories provided interventions, or statements, on various fisheries that note the concerns expressed by the territory.
American Samoa presented an intervention on South Pacific Albacore Tuna fishery management and an intervention on the U.S. high seas purse seine fishery limits; The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) and Guam both provided interventions on the skipjack tuna reference points.
