Transfer Technologies

One best practice technology transfer project is currently being undertaken in Latin America with Ecuador, Peru and Columbian artisanal longline fleets targeting tuna and mahimahi.

The Council is also involved in the rehabilitation of the South Pacific Regional Environmental Programme's Turtle Research Database System (TREDS) to manage and consolidate the wealth of data being collected throughout the Pacific Rim.
